There was some good sailing on 13th & 29th Jan. Colin Hatton and Pete Clifton were in attendance and took some great action photos.

Feb was a cold month - some of us sought the delights of the Ski slopes. Luckily Brendan was on hand to capture some shots of the frozen lake and the woodland with a dusting of snow on his phone.

There was some very rough weather around at the start of the month - one of the fishing boats broke loose to be pounded by waves against the Dam Meanwhile the Laser 2k trainees welcomed some new members and helped them to rig their boat.

An evening with the Wellington Wailers

Wellington Wailers – an evening of Sea Shanty Songs, Saturday 27th
October 8pm £10

This event is a joint event with Ashdown Sailing Club (a local cruising club) and will take place at their clubhouse in Godstone ( next to the pond, The Godstone Club, The Green, Godstone, Surrey RH9 8DY).

We hosted this event last year, for those who didn’t attend it was an exceptionally fun evening of rumbustious sea shanty songs with a charming rabble of sea dogs. Not to be missed. No food but Godstone Cub has an open bar and snacks are available.

Please contact Rachael below if you wish to attend, so she can pass numbers onto Ashdown.
